Who We Are

At Sandler Training, we are committed to working together to make the changes necessary to take your company and career to a higher level.  Owner Erik Meier has been a student of sales his entire life.  From an early age, he recognized the key to personal achievement comes from the ability to "write your own ticket".  Whether that means you take an entrepreneurial path or choose to work within an existing company, that path requires a system of selling which enables you to set and exceed personal and professional goals.

Daryn Lawson

Daryn Lawson

Daryn Lawson has a Marketing Degree from Grand Valley State University. He has been selling since the young age of nine when he became a caddy and had a weekly paper route. He has been in business and professional selling for the past 33 years. Most notably, he was responsible for bringing the GolfTEC Golf Learning Centers to Metro Detroit. He achieved PGA Membership status in Michigan and Colorado and was nationally recognized as a State’s Top Teacher in Golf Digest in 2005. After selling his franchises, he went to work in the technology and recruiting industries, where he received many awards for surpassing his quotas consistently.

He is excited to join the team and continue helping business owners and salespeople achieve their goals, thus helping to improve their lives. He will use his experience as a golf instructor, business owner, and professional seller to provide a fun and engaging learning environment. He says “I will teach you to P.U.T.T - Pick Up The Telephone! Your key to achieving your goals.”

Chris 2021

Chris Drouin

A 20-year veteran of sales and marketing, Chris has worked in a diverse range of industries including several premier brands in the automotive, banking, real estate, and healthcare sectors including Volkswagen, Audi & Bentley Motors, Quicken Loans and McKesson Pharmacy Systems. This experience gives Chris a unique blend of knowledge which companies find to be refreshing and beneficial when understanding their needs and helping them achieve that next level of excellence.

In addition to his sales career, Chris has experience in advancement and fundraising where he has presented at Walsh College and is also a former board member for the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Small Business Association of Michigan’s Legislative Action Council, and the founder and past President of the Brother Rice Business Alliance. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for US Lacrosse–Michigan and The Dildilian Foundation for the Trades.

Bob Bolak

Bob Bolak

Bob Bolak has a rich business background in Leadership, Management, Selling and Customer Service. He consistently delivered double- and triple-digit revenue and profit increases throughout his business leadership tenure. Bob built a top-performing Sandler Training Center in Denver, Colorado, then successfully exited to move back home to Michigan where he now proudly serves on the EAM team and on the Sandler Training Corporate Training team.

Tim Bryson

Tim Bryson joined Sandler Training by EAM Consulting Group in 2019. In 2021, he took on the role of Director of Client Success to support our growing team as we deliver fresh, relevant, and powerful reinforcement training to our clients.

Tim brings a decade of work experience in customer service and communications to this role, as well as his complementary position as trainer for our Strategic Customer Care program. He is passionate about connecting positive, growth-oriented people with each other, strengthening business relationships and helping others achieve next-level success in their personal and professional lives.

Tim grew up in rural Lapeer, MI, where he worked in food service management and retail positions, while also starting and growing multiple successful side businesses. He currently resides in Lake Orion MI, where he enjoys traveling, camping, reading, country music, and a variety of nerdy interests.

JT Teringo

JT Teringo has nearly 20 years of proven success in sales, business development, negotiations, leadership and building relationships. Prior to joining the team, JT was a client of EAM Consulting Group for more than five years, which helped him develop the necessary skills to become well-respected in the business community. Most recently, he worked at a boutique apartment brokerage firm, completing nearly $400M in transactions across approximately 10,000 units.

JT’s passion is helping entrepreneurs and companies accelerate success by focusing on people, processes, and performance. When he is not working, JT enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and creating memories with them, as well as being outdoors, working out, pushing his comfort zone and good bourbon with a fine cigar. JT received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Michigan State University and currently lives in Grosse Ile.

Joe Desanto

Joe DeSanto

 Joe DeSanto is a seasoned executive in Sales & Operations with 30 years of experience working with startups, developing processes, and leading software development projects.

Throughout his career, Joe has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. He has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies that have resulted in increased profits and improved efficiency.

Joe is passionate about supporting founders in creating innovative technological solutions that provide a competitive advantage. The last 10 years have been focused on financing, buying and selling of businesses in and around the healthcare sector. These projects have included acquiring, reorganizing, and driving exponential growth by implementing software and selling systems designed to shorten revenue cycle time frames and increase revenue.

In his free time Joe enjoys hanging out with his kids, traveling and spending time at the gym.

Chris Lane

Chris Lane

Chris Lane is an Associate with Sandler by EAM Consulting Group. Chris is a product of the product. He knows Sandler, he applies Sandler, and he proudly sells Sandler. His goal is to help hungry professional sellers overcome the challenges he has faced in his 20+ year selling career.

Chris has earned his success. He started in an entry level position as a software implementer, where he realized the importance of learning the product. He was quickly promoted into a Solution Consulting role, where he learned how to present the product. For several decades, he managed a diverse territory and quarterbacked deals totaling millions in annual recurring revenue. One of Chris’s proudest accomplishments was being honored as a “Company Maker”, identifying the top 5% of all performers across a Fortune 500 company.

Outside of work, Chris plays hockey and golf and loves supporting his wife, son, and daughter as they pursue their dreams.

Tom Stephens has more than 25 years of proven success at team-building, acquisition expertise, capital ventures, sales, and sustained profitability. Most recently, Tom provided international business consulting to firms interested in a potential move to the United States. Tom has invested talent in retention/expansion and branding, while always conscious of the bottom line in driving growth and profits.

Kristen Collier

Kristen Collier is an experienced and versatile administrative professional with over twenty years experience providing excellent customer service across several industries, including hospitality, real estate and digital marketing. Kristen strives to use her to experience to provide organization and facilitate the expansion of EAM as they continue to grow.

In her free time, Kristen stays busy with her four kids and their extracurricular activities, and enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband and family.
